Summer Solstice

The longest day of the year called me to hike with my compadré, Saidi, early in the morning so we could greet the rising sun and honor its life giving and sustaining power. Sungazing seems a rarity this summer with the overabundance of water, but on the solstice, Brother Sun made a full appearance. We ended the day with a Divine Feminine fire circle. Sharing our hearts, experiences, through drumming, music and breaking bread or rather, gazpacho and a playful moment with rosemary; our offering for memory, new beginnings and clarity in moving into them. These times call for gathering, connecting and finding our commonalities in being soulfilled humans.
