Therapist as Human

Updated: Mar 24

This evening, I had a client whom I've been supporting for a short while. He has a very big heart, but does not see it. He is deeply wounded, yet he continues to treat everyone with respect in the face of feeling "othered" by the status quo. He reminded me of myself many years ago: I felt everything and had buttons the size of Bozo the Clown. It was not until I found mediation that I touched upon this truth of my constitution. To feel is a blessing. It actually keeps our species relevant to this planet. Being sensitive is like being a wild horse in the Westernized world. When in nature, though - sensitives connect. I encourage you who feel by nature, to do just that - commune with the nature around you. It is there you will find yourself. And how lovely you are. I dedicate this blog to my client.
